Well, Bean had no problems with Santa. Hopped right up on his lap and told him what he wanted. Then, I tried to put Yaya up on his other knee. She would have none of it! Lost it completely and I had a difficult time calming her down. We finally did and she agreed to sit on the little stool near the Santa chair. But she was not going to smile for any picture. This is what we got. And then immediately after when he said do you want some crayons and a coloring book, she was fine. Go figure. :)

The end of summer................

As we head into the wintry cold months, i still several picture from the summer that I never got a chance to post. I realized that I was about to post some pictures from ice skating and with winter coats. But on this day, the second week of November, with the sun shining, bright blue skies and the temperature reaching the upper 60s, I need to hang on just a bit longer to the longer, lazier, carefree, and yes, warmer days of summer.

My baby is three.
So, I cannot believe that my baby girl is three already. Where does the time go? I know it doesn't seem like a big deal that she is only three, she is still so little with so much littleness to be still. But she is is changing so much and she is not a baby any more--she really is becoming a little girl. Becoming a girl!

She is the most amazing little girl too. She is a very energetic, easy-going, independent, opinionated, easy-to-laugh, curious, loving, kissable, adventurous, difficult, stubborn, little girl. She knows what she wants and what she doesn't want and she will let you know exactly how she feels about it She absolutely adores her big brother but knows how to push his buttons to get him mad. She is smart, so smart, and loves to talk, babble, tell stories, sing, and tell you exactly what to do. She is learning how to negotiate in the world, in her world and in others and she is doing a pretty good job at it. She wants all the attention from who ever will give it to her, but in a very innocent way.

I am so excited to watch her grow into the amazing girl and woman I know she will become. I cannot wait to watch her explore her world, learn new things, have amazing adventures, see the world and all that it has to offer, and grow into an amazing person. She is the love of my life and I am so glad to be her mother.

Happy Birthday, Allegra!
