Feeding the ducks

Lovely autumn day in Athens and we needed to get out of the house. For some reason we had tons of old stale bread, about to go moldy (but not there yet). So we gathered up the bread and headed out to Strouds Run, a local state park on the out skirts of Athens. Nice park with a lake (dammed up river) and "beach" area, hiking trails, and other types of outdoor pursuits. We thought we could feed the geese, so we got out and there were only two lone geese there, so we yelled for them, as you do. Here geese, geese! Here geese! They did not seem to be too interested in them, so we threw bread pieces at/ near them. Still no interest. Finally, decided to leave, said goodbye and what do you know, the geese just did not like us and loved the bread. Damn geese!
